Guillaume Repin was born in Thouarcé on August 26, 1709. He entered the seminary in Angers at nineteen years of age and was ordained a priest.
During the French Revolution, he was arrested June 17, 1792, and imprisoned in a prison workshop.
Released by the Vendee, June 17, 1793, he was captured in Mauges, December 24, 1793, and taken to prison to Chalonnes. Brought before the Revolutionary Committee of Angers, he was sentenced to the guillotine and executed January 2, 1794.
