LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Arriving at the seller's house, in Longmont, Colorado, Michelle had no idea what was to follow.
The seller's husband, David Ridley arrived home early from work that day and discovered his wife, known as "D" who's real name is "Dynel Lane," covered in blood.
"She told David she just miscarried and the baby was in the bathtub upstairs," explained the police report.
Running up to the bathroom, David found "a small baby lying in the bathtub," according to the report. "He rubbed the baby slightly then rolled it over to ... see it take a gasping breath."
Completely unaware that the baby's mother was left upstairs bleeding, David drove the baby and Dynel to the emergency room.

When the police arrived, they discovered Michelle laying on a bed barely conscious, a knife with a 3-inch blade under the bed and several bloody towels being washed in the washing machine.
The incision on Michelle's abdomen "appeared to be well performed," as the doctor's noted "the person who did the incision would have to have researched the subject of cesarean births in books or online to achieve the level of accuracy.
According to records with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Dynel was a certified nurse aide from July 2010 to January 2012, and had no disciplinary history or actions.
The doctors caring for Dynel expressed there to be no visual signs of having recently given birth or miscarrying.
"Dynel admitted to Detective Stacey Graham that she cut abdomen open to remove [the victim's] baby," according to the police report. "The baby was approximately 7 months old and would have been viable."
According to Dynel's family, she had announced a pregnancy months earlier, even showing an ultrasound picture.
However, Dynel showed no physical signs of pregnancy. Thirteen years ago, though, Dynel, in a different marriage, lost a 19-month-old son to accidental drowning.
Michelle is making excellent progress, but her baby did not survive.
Prosecutors are left with the pressing decision on whether to charge Dynel with the murder of Michelle's baby.
"The issue of whether or not murder charges are appropriate involving a case involving the death of a fetus or a late-term pregnancy is always a difficult issue," Boulder County District Attorney Stanley L. Garnett said.
Dynel is arrested on accusations of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and child abuse knowingly/recklessly resulting in death.
