Eight-year-old Muslim girl tells crowd of her love for jihad in Australia

'Nobody is too young' to give to the cause, she tells audience

In a shocking video, an eight-year-old Muslim girl tells the audience at an Islamist conference in Sydney, Australia her undying love of jihad. Speaking at a "Muslims Rise," held by the Australian chapter of Hizb ut-Tahrir, it's one of the most disturbing things to have emerged in the ongoing unrest in that city.

Identified only as eight-year-old Ruqaya, journalists have identified her as the 'Jihad girl.'

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Authorities say they are now investigating the background of the little girl, who was taped describing her love of jihad, i.e. a holy war or spiritual struggle as well as the violent uprising in Syria and the global community, which is known as Ummah.

Identified only as eight-year-old Ruqaya, journalists say that she declares that "these uprisings have demonstrated that this Ummah is alive and well, that her sentiments are for Islam, her love is for Jihad, she has unshackled herself from the fear which she held."

"Children as young as myself can be seen on the streets joining the uprisings, risking their lives to bring food, water and medicine to their wounded family members, some of them never returning to their mothers ... Nobody is too young," Ruqaya says.

Sydney was rocked by violent rioting this past weekend. The Australian city is just the latest to be affected by demonstrations across the world against the U.S.-produced anti-Islam film, "Innocence of Muslims." Demonstrators clashed with Sydney police, with 17 injured and six arrested and charged on Saturday.

Most distressingly, young children were also seen holding posters with inflammatory slogans on them.

New South Wales Premier Barry O'Farrell has requested that Pru Goward, the family and Community Services Minister to urgently investigate the presence of a child at the protest, who was pictured holding posters ordering the beheading of anyone opposing the prophet.

"We cannot incite our children to violence for any reason, and we cannot use our children to promote messages that incite people to violence," Goward says.

Detectives are now hunting the organizers of the riots, who are thought to have used text messages and social networking sites to bring demonstrators together to defend the honor of the Prophet.

I received this in an e-mail & I do agree with it. About time someone tells it like it is.
    Prime Minister Julia Gillard- Australia
Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Gillard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying she supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote:

'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT.. Take It Or Leave It.
I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. '

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'

'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society ... Learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE''

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

    Amen to that

Thank you for another informative article. This illustrates the vast difference between Christianity and Islam. Christianity is about love, sacrifice, humility, charity, forgiveness while Islam is about violence, hate, vengeance. America is being set up for wide spread terror and violence coming from the muslims in this country.

During WWII Hitler trained the German youth. I was told that during the Vetnam war children were used to murder our troops. Now it looks like certain people may be training the children for a jihad. I think this is good to know as well as teach us all to be aware of our surroundings because of the seriousness of something like this. It is wrong to hate but being aware of your surroundings is street smarts and not a wrong thing to do. We can also pray for peace.

IF WE ALL TREATED EACH OTHER WITH RESPECT AND TRULY CARED ABOUT EACH OTHER THERE WOULD NOT BE HATE SPEECH. I TREAT EVERYONE WITH RESPECT. WHEN SOMEONE GETS ANGRY I MAKE THE SOUND OF THE DOVE. PRAY FOR EVERYONE BECAUSE SOMEDAY THINGS WILL CHANGE AND WE WILL ALL CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER.

As an atheist this is not shocking at all. Appalling and tragic but not surprising. From my perspective, I see this stuff all around me. In Hyde Park, London, just last week, there were children younger than this person in the article holding signs above their heads that read, "Behead all those who insult the Prophet" with the mother taking his picture, smiling all the while. This is child abuse. -Cheers! Mike
